We are currently seeking a new Deputy Principal to take the college even further forwards and this is a completely unique opportunity as we are very flexible about the remit, scope and focus of this role. Overall, the post holder will support the Principal in providing high level strategic direction and in ensuring that the college delivers services to an exceptionally high standard. The Deputy Principal will have senior leadership of a number of college functions, providing effective motivation, support and development for staff, while inspiring students to excel.
Specific areas under this role are open and can be shaped around the skills and talents of the incoming post holder. They may include a range of college functions, such as curriculum, marketing, skills/employability, property, MIS, student services, safeguarding and / or welfare; all are areas where we have an exciting journey ahead and where an individual can add value. This is an excellent opportunity for a post holder to play to their own strengths and there is flexibility for the structure to adapt and / or for the role to evolve in the future.
We are looking for a strong, impactful leader with a successful track record of leadership and management in an education provider. We can be flexible about the specific areas that you have led and your areas of specialism, and we are also happy to consider individuals from sixth form and GFE colleges, schools and academies. Key to success will be a background in delivering continuous improvement and a student-centred approach, with a commitment to excellence and prioritising the needs of learners.
