Jessica is a contemporary historian and museums expert. She has worked on various national and international research collaborations, produced historical exhibitions and broadcast media, and written for academic and non-academic publications. She gained a BA Hons in History at the University of Sussex and MSc in the History of International Relations from LSE. Her Collaborative Doctoral Partnership PhD was based at Imperial War Museum London and the University of Strathclyde.

Jessica has also worked in secondary schools and sixth forms on curriculum creation and delivery, and in the public sector on education policy. She is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society and is an experienced teacher at undergraduate and master’s level. She has lived locally for several years.
