Tayma Bachoo
Student Governor
Tayma is currently studying Law, Philosophy and Business and hopes to attend the University College of London to study law with a focus on corporate law at a magic circle law firm. One of her long term goals beyond academia, is to contribute to aiding businesses achieve their desired outcome via her own personal skills and abilities that she has developed through her life and work experiences. Her passions for leadership and drive to promote positive change does not solely derive from being a newly appointed student governor but also from being the student president, student leader and student ambassador of Sir George Monoux Sixth Form College. Using these roles, Tayma seeks to become a progressive leader who emphasises on democratic leadership and the development of her decision-making skills. This will in return, contribute towards a better college environment. She firmly believes in learning to embrace and manage change and using it as a positive method to achieve a better environment for her college. Tayma anticipates by further developing her leadership skills - it will become beneficial to support the development of the entire student body. She wants to pave the way for the advancement of our society and persevere a path of exponential improvement.
